What is with this obsession with little girls in japanese pop culture? There are no hot 20yo chicks in anime. 90% of them appear as school girls. Why do i get the impression this is not to appease female fans? Shit is disturbing.

The people I have found who don’t like this kind of stuff are either:
A. Unable to find anyone to have sex with and are jellious.
B. Generally not interested in sex to start with.

I think sexualizing 16 year old cartoon characters is a lot safer than sexualizing real 16 year olds like a famous American animation producers do (Brittany Spears, Miley Cyrus). When a cartoon character is sexualized it is still a frigging cartoon, obviously fantasy – not reality. Way less disturbing than real 16 year olds in mini-skirts doing pelvic thrusts while lip synching to songs about getting it on with boys.

Wow! How do you even know it’s a guy who did these figurines??? There isn’t an artist listed. I should probably note that I am a woman before I say this… All the artists I know who obsessively draw or sculpt women are straight women. Anime is a style of art and the idea that it’s about sexualizing underage women is painting an entire culture of people as perverse pedophiles. What makes any other culture any different? What culture doesn’t idolize youth or sexualize young people nowadays? It’s really unfair that you can’t see why these are amazing pieces of art! What a talent!

@all the haterz: im sorry, i fail to see which one is even sexualized? do you mean the ones in school uniforms? that’s uh, what young girls in school wear. The skin tight suits? If you bothered to watch the series, you’d know they’re skin tight because they are something akin to swimsuits/scuba suits. (I know, they’re actually very different but that’s still the idea)

Hey does anyone know if there is an actual polaroid anime, i’ve seen the dolls, i’ve seen the music videos, i’ve seen a bunch of comertials in a language i cant desifer, but i have yet to find an polaroid anime. its just strange to see all of this miku merchandice and dolls and papercraft figures but no anime to go with em.
